Still some cool cars on the road... it isn't winter yet!

Very clean 80's SL

Always nice cars at Milos

Rare colour Golf R

Rare and pretty Lexus LC500

Not the first time I spot this modified 997 Turbo
There are so many of these RS6's in Outremont now

Mclaren in Old Montreal

Nice "delivery" car

A rare Volvo P1800

My M3 beside a modern 5-series... huge size difference!

A Z8 getting a major service at TC Automotive

George's M3 race car

Funny plate on the Z8

Clean E39 5-series

This repair shop on Jean Talon (EK)  had this rare Benley Arnage...
... actually, they had 2 of them, the same colour!

This 930 looks mean with no trunk and Ruf style wheels

Official van of Ferrari Quebec?

A rare M4 CS

The new S-Class... apart from the rear lights, not much has changed

Previous generation RS7 still looks cool

Rare colour for this E61 M5

Immaculate Austin Healey 3000

It deserved a second photo

Another cool delivery vehicle

The M8 4-door is a very large car

Super nice Aston Martin Vantage GT at the dealership

I like that it's not too big

A comparion of the E61 and F10 5-series... the F10 is much bigger

Nice Alfa Spider

This old Audi Allroad had a sheet of aluminium instead of a rear window... weird.

It's a lousy photo but this old Mustang looked great on BBS wheels

Another car looking great with BBS wheels...

... this tastefully modified E30

A bat and a Rubik's cube for Halloween 2021

There are more and more Taycans on the road too

A newer Vantage

... one of the best-looking cars in production

Yest another Taycan, a Turbo S

AMG GT looks great as a coupe or convertible

Focus RS looks like a rally car in white

Not the first time I've spotted this super clean Cavalier convertible

Weird JDM looking wheels on this S2000

... but really nice Enkeis on the Accord

First time I've seen this nice green for an RS6

There are very few Saab 9-3's still on the road

Nice flat khaki G-wagen

I still love these AMG C63's... getting to be a rare sight

This is now an extremely rare car... Fiat X1/9

Another rarity: a 240 SX...

... with no visible modifications and no rust.

Look how big the RS6 looks near a Z3

Cool stripes and wheels on this Westfalia

This X-Trail still had its French license plate in front

The Saab and its cousin

The 2 black cars together in Deschaillons

Their last ever photo together?

Rallye de Charlevoix 2021

A few weeks ago, I convinced the rest of the family to take a little road trip to the Charlevoix region to go and see the Rallye de Charlevoix. They were not hard to convince and we reserved a nice hotel for the Saturday of the rally weekend. Although the rally was not open to spectators, we managed to find a couple of stages near us and watch from a distance. I can't say the boys loved the experience, but they seemed to enjoy it somewhat. I was glad to be back after about 20 years since attending the event. Here are a few photos.

Wide-body Civic at the finish line

This WRX came in at a lower speed, on a flat tire

I like to see economy cars in rallies

... like this Suzuki Swift

Subarus were the most popular cars, as usual

The stickers on the car are cooler and more detailed than in the past

There were a couple of newer Subarus too

At the start line

All generations of WRX were represented

Including a couple of first generation cars

The boys goofing off at the start of the Clermont stage

The "TwoBrits" Impreza

Classic livery on this Subaru

... still looks good after all these years

The Civic at the start of Clermont

One of the quicker 2WD cars

... a cool Fiesta

Another top contender in 2WD

An E36 BMW hatch

Another WRX...

... and another

One of the rare Mitsubishi Evo's in the event

Up close with the Evo

Green WRX

Another classic blue GC Impreza

... this time with air in all tires

A very stock-looking Golf

... probably a solid base for a rally car

GC Impreza and Swift

The Swift in action

Nice scenery in the distance

This AE86 looked great on its meaty tires

Looked good and sounded good too

The famous La Pax stage

The classic-theemed WRX on its second pass through Clermont

The boys catching the action

The Corolla accelerating down the street
