It keeps snowing and I haven't found a parking spot for the Civic yet!

Just like every year, I am in the midst of juggling around our 3 cars to switch from summer mode to winter mode. Every winter, I have to find two parking spots, one for the BMW and one for the Civic, and then switch those cars onto storage tires, as well as rust proof the Saabaru and whichever other car will spend the winter in an unheated environment.

As the snow came very early this year, I was sort of caught off guard, in that the Saab was not yet ready for winter (it needed rear shocks, brakes on all 4 wheels and some rusted parts replaced). I worked hard in the barn at the country house to make space to open the barn doors and fit a car inside. The work paid off and the M3 is now parked indoors. I also had the BMW and the Saab rust-proofed in Deschaillons at a local shop. That's 2 out of 3 cars sorted.... sadly, my indoor spot for the Civic fell through this year and I have yet to find an affordable replacement spot. On top of that, the car, which is parked on the street, has no winter tires and the law just changed so that they are mandatory as of December 1st instead of the 15th.

Anyway, the Saab is working better than ever after some pretty extensive work, the BMW is safely tucked away, and the Civic will hopefully be stored in the next couple of days.

I've also gone through many of my past blog posts to clean up the broken links and have transferred almost all photos to Google photos, so everything should be in order when clicking on these old posts. Looking at all these old pictures made me a bit nostalgic, as there were many great moments captured in them.

On my way to the alignment shop, I walked by the very cool EK perfomance shop... is there anything they don't work on? Look what's on the lift...
