Montreal car show 2025

A couple of weeks ago the family and I attended the Montreal Auto Show. As any reader of this blog knows, I'm not interested in about 98% of brand new cars and I will likely never buy a brand new car, like, ever. Still, it's nice to have an indoor car activity in winter and to go out as a family. I especially enjoy seeing the enthusiasm expressed by the boys (often for things to which I wouldn't have given a second look!). As usual, there were not a ton of interesting cars for people like me who like sports cars and racing, with the exception of the amazing Poirier collection, made up mostly of Ferraris, which is just amazing to see, even if I've seen it before. Here are some photos I took.

Replica of a Shelby, it's at least a real Mustang

Modern Shelby has around 900 hp

... plus you can get it as a convertible.

A single-seat "street" car, the BAC Mono

One of my all-time favourites, the 288 GTO

Ferrari analog hypercars

360 Challenge Stradale is so cool!

F512M and 512TR

The iconic F40

Almost as cool, the F50

... F40 still the coolest though

The most expensive: the 250 GTO

812 Competizione

Rare and desirable 599 GTO

Pretty rare 512 TR and very rare F512M

I quite like the updates from the classic Testarossa

Daytona, 348 in the background

275 GTB, V12 and front-engined

Lotus had 5 or 6 Emira's on hand

Mclaren's are flashy...

Cool JPS-liveried Emira

Oscar enjoying a seat in the Lucid Air

Huracan Sterrato, with a roof rack of course

Cool colour for the Ioniq 5 N

New Revuelto

I approve of the classic colour-combo for the new Land Cruiser

Pretty bike by MV Agusta

Crazy slammed Dauphine in the tuner car area

993 Turbo with 993 GT2 add-ons

Over-the-top CRX

Oscar's favourite room was the one with the power sports vehicles

J. liked them too

Interesting Corvette E-Ray

Also electric: the new Charger

Cool Kia concept car/truck

Good-looking 400Z Nismo

J. behing the wheel of the Elantra N

New AMG GT not as cool as the old one

Hyundai restored this 1 000 000 km Elantra in the style of a N-division car... funny and cool.
